In 1999, Fan Man-Yee, was abducted, tortured, and ultimately murdered in an apartment in Hong Kong after stealing money from her drug dealer and pimp. She was tortured by three man for over a month before she died. After the three men killed her, she was decapitated and her skull was sewn to the inside of a Hello Kitty mermaid doll. The Hello Kitty murder is remembered as one of Hong Kong’s most brutal, heinous murders.
