On February 26, 2014 in Meridian, Mississippi, 21-year old Christian Andreacchio was found dead inside his apartment from a single gunshot wound to the head in an apparent suicide. Andreacchio worked on a tugboat and was on his way to becoming the youngest captain.
His body was discovered by his friend, Dylan Swearingen and his girlfriend, Whitley Goodman. Both Dylan and Whitley were inside Christian’s apartment and were with him the day he died. Dylan reportedly found Christian’s body, and Whitley was asleep on the couch at the time Christian would have shot himself.
Whitley and Dylan were both tested for gun shot residue and both their tests came back positive for GSR.
The afternoon of Christian’s death, Dylan was captured on an ATM surveillance camera attempting to withdraw all the money from Christian’s bank account.
After conducting a 45-minute investigation, the Meridian Police Department ruled Christian’s death a suicide. However, the family doesn’t believe he killed himself. The Andreacchio’s believe Christian was murdered.
